Rescue Me ID: 14-03-31-00537Gracie (female)

Weimaraner    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Needs to be Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Gracie was born on January 31st. She just had her 2nd birthday. She is AKC registered and up to date on all shots. She is a very good dog. All she wants is love and attention. She is very active and needs a daily run. You MUST have a lot of property or a privacy fence. We have a chain link fence and she scales it like its nothing. She is very good with children( we have 3) but I would prefer someone with kids over the age of 5 because she gets stir crazy in the house n will start running around and has knocked the babies down by accident before. She is fully house trained and cage trained. She hates the cage though. She will bark in it. You ... (Read More)can leave her out while you leave and she has never chewed or destroyed anything. Nor has she gone to the bathroom in the house. She loves to eat a ton! So u can never leave any food on the counter. She eats a high protein food, and eats 1 1/2 to 2 big bowls a day and drinks water like a fish so please don't respond if u don't have the financial means to provide for her. She doesn't like to take a bath but she will get in and sit there fine for u, she just looks sad the whole time so I always pet her and say good girl to cheer her up. She like to sleep in the bed at your feet. We tried the dog bed, that didn't work out well.lol She loves to lay on the couch with you. She loves to be outside any chance she can and she likes to chases squirrels and cats. She loves to play with other dogs. She does a few tricks..sit, paw, other paw, lay down, roll over. She is NOT spayed. Were looking for a forever home for her. So please don't respond if this isn't a commitment your willing to make and treat her as your own human child. We will require a home check. She is my baby but I just can't give her the life she needs. She needs to run and have attention and now with work and 3 kids I feel selfish keeping her knowing she deserves more. (Less)
