Jett was pulled from a shelter downstate, he was heartworm positive at the time and due to that, he was close to being euthanized as no one wanted to take him on. Jett is a happy, sweet, and energetic guy waiting patiently for his forever home. We were told he's about 5 yrs old and is a Pitbull/possibly Weimaraner Mix. He's so loving and just wants any attention he can get. Jett would love a home as the only pet but loves people! He's in rough shape right now with having gone through heartworm and somehow lost most of his hair which is starting to grow back finally. He's a great dog and deserves a family of his own! HIS ADOPTION FEE HAS BEEN ... (Read More)SPONSORED with an approved application. The only fee that will be charged, will be for gas money depending on your location for when we drive to do the home visit.     Good day - my name is Austin - I am a sweet ole boy with lots of love to give. I am quiet, friendly and social with other dogs. Doc said that I am in good shape for my age and am doing well. My previous family said that I did not do well with cats though and liked to hunt the yard critters. I have a bit of a "Walter Matthau" personality until you get to know me - a bit stubborn and pig headed sometimes but ultimately just a friend and buddy who wants to hang out with you. I have a special pillow that I love to snuggle with a night - there is no such thing as being to old for a snuggle pillow! I would love to meet you and chat a ... PIease Read Before Adopting a Weimaraner in Michigan
Weimaraner Dogs can make good pets in Michigan if they match your IifestyIe. The Weimaraner is a graceful gray gun dog. Weimaraners are rowdy, happy dogs. Weimaraners need discipline and strong leadership from the very beginning. This is not a breed for an inexperienced owner. Weimaraners are very territorial. A Weimaraner needs to be with people. Weimaraners are excellent with children but should be supervised around little ones because of the energy and size of the dogs. A Weimaraner can live in an apartment if it has plenty of daily exercise.
