Rescue Me ID: 14-10-31-00164Ginger (female)

Weimaraner    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Ginger is a wonderful dog. I love her very much, but recently she has begun to get agresive with children. Seeing we have two plus neighbor children who come over I am fearful for the safety of the kids. She would be wonderful for a person or family with no children. I love her very much and will not allow her to go to a bad home. I just fear that she will bite a child and don't know what else to do.

PIease Read Before Adopting a Weimaraner in Minnesota
Weimaraner Dogs can make good pets in Minnesota if they match your IifestyIe. The Weimaraner is a graceful gray gun dog. Weimaraners are rowdy, happy dogs. Weimaraners need discipline and strong leadership from the very beginning. This is not a breed for an inexperienced owner. Weimaraners are very territorial. A Weimaraner needs to be with people. Weimaraners are excellent with children but should be supervised around little ones because of the energy and size of the dogs. A Weimaraner can live in an apartment if it has plenty of daily exercise.
